The National FTZ Benchmark Report
The first independent national ranking of Foreign-Trade Zone activity in the United States. Every zone, measured against every other zone, using the FTZ Board’s own public records.
What is in the report
Zone activity data is public, but it has never been assembled into a ranking that lets an administrator or a company see where a zone actually stands. This report does that for the first time.
Inside: the top 25 zones by merchandise received, by employment, and by exports. The year’s tier climbers, meaning the zones that moved up the most. And the utilization gap analysis, which compares the manufacturing and import base inside each zone’s service area against what the zone is actually handling. That gap is the clearest picture available of where the program is being left on the table.
It is free. Zone administrators use it to show a board where their zone ranks. Companies use it to see how much activity is already running through the program in their region.
